Saturday, September 30th, 2006‘7 SINS’ was transported with other RX Engineering cars to the 2006 Fast Fours Magazine Jamboree, at Willowbank Raceway, Queensland. This is the years premier Sport Compact event run over 2 days - Saturday and Sunday 23/24 of September. It attracts cars from all over Australia and New Zealand. A special mention also to 3 cars from Puerto Rico who came over thanks to Jon at Rx Engineering and Microtech Global. It was also the first round of the Sport Compact Group Drag Racing Series. ‘7 SINS’ has undergone a transformation. The reliable Series 4 turbo gearbox and sacrificial single plate clutch has been dropped for a twin plate clutch and supra box combination. With Pat Long’s ‘CRITTA’ RX3 running 9.1sec ET with this combination, we’ re expecting the same reliable manual shifted nirvana!
2006 Fast Fours magazine Jamboree is on this weekend 23rd/24th September at Willowbank Raceway. ‘7 SINS’ has entered in the very popular Street 289 class. Expect some very close racing! Not only are some big names from New Zealand racing, but some very tough Peurto Rican cars have been brought over for the event. Jamboree is going to go off! For more info check out
