During a recent dyno session to dial in the new 3.89:1 diff ratio, it became apparent that our 5 year old motor was struggling. The problem was traced to a faulty coolant temperature wire, which was causing fuelling problems. This has hurt the motor, and sadly, it will be retired. It’s had a hard life!
We will be back better than ever. Stay tuned!
Second round of the WSID track championship will be on Sunday, 19th of October.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, we will not be attending this event.
Unfortunately for us, there is no bling for the shelf this season. We knew we had to get a placing at J18, but were pipped by 2 points for third place in the ST289 class. At least the weather was nice!

After alot of waiting in the cold and windy conditions at WSID Bracket Attack 1, it all came together in the first elimination round, with a stomping 1.301 60ft and 9.122 @ 144MPH ET.
First pass of the day resulted in our highest speed of 147.83 MPH through the traps.
The car is easily picking up the front wheels on the transbrake too.

Its been a while coming, but on the second qualifying pass, 7SINS set a new personal best ET of 9.557 @ 145.05MPH. With no practice before the event - we only got the car back the day
before, we were thrilled to gain such a good result early in the running of the new set up.
Ultra hot Compak Attak action entertained the cold crowd.
7SINS the RX7 has undergone another transformation in the transmission department.
The twin plate clutch and Supra box has given way to a rebuilt Jatco 3 speed and transbrake.
The combination will be tested at Compak Attak, 18th May.
Consistency is the aim of the new setup.
